Content Removal Policy
Instructions and guidelines for requesting the removal of prohibited, unauthorized, or infringing media on BestVid.
2026/09/28
Effective Date: September 28, 2026
Who Can Request Removal
Any individual, legal guardian, designated representative, or intellectual property rights holder may request the removal of media generated or hosted by BestVid (https://bestvid.net). This includes individuals depicted in unauthorized media, copyright holders, or members of the public identifying violations of our Content Policy.
How to Submit a Request
Send removal requests by email to support@bestvid.net. You can also submit the same request using our Report Content form, which will generate a tracking report number. Submitting your request by email to support@bestvid.net remains fully valid.
Requests sent through unofficial social channels cannot be processed as a formal notice. Please use a clear subject line (for example, "Content Removal Request").
Required Information
To help us find and review the material, include:
- Locator: a bestvid.net page URL, public media URL, generation job ID, or another identifier that lets us find the file.
- Reason: why the material should be taken down, with enough detail to match our Content Policy (for example, unauthorized likeness, intimate imagery, child-safety concern, or copyright).
- Supporting information: any evidence you can safely provide. For likeness claims we may later ask for identity or authority documents. You do not need to send those documents to start a report.
- Contact details: a working email address and name for follow-up.
Do not email illegal sexual material involving minors. Send a locator and a written description instead.
Review Process and Timeline
After we receive your request, we log the request and review the locator and details you provided. For ordinary requests, we aim to review and respond within 7 business days. That timeline is a target, not a guarantee.
High-Risk Reports
For reports involving suspected child sexual exploitation or non-consensual intimate imagery, we will restrict public access as quickly as practicable pending review. We may also retain records required for legal or safety duties.
